Sam been skiing since the young age of three years old and has been competing in slopestyle since age 11; Competing mainly in the Eastern U.S. and a few of the Western states. He is currently filming with The Main Idea and will continue to film with them this upcoming season. In addition to DNA his other sponsors are: Fischer Skis, Blackbear Energy, Anon Optics, and R.E.D.
